Break-in at PJ's Corner 4:00am on
Tuesday June 13th 2006

First attempt was made by pulling back door open...held only by a hook ... but the inside door has a steel bar holding it closed! Good luck ...try again!

Guess its time to pry the lock open ...but that didn't work either. |
Points for persistance ... breaking two panes of glass each about 1/2 inch thick! But this caused the alarm to begin its "Warning Cycle!" |
Dumbasses then proceeded to break the glass on the inside door (1/2 inch glass single pane) .. this door is never locked! The broken glass from this door ended up at the back of our store (about 40 feet away!) and all over the shelves!
Wires on floor are from the alarm control box that they ripped from the wall. All this did was cause the alarm to immediately activate and make it impossible to shut off! |
Alarm control box USED to hang about midway up this picture to the left. Its now on the floor mixed in with broken glass. |
This is the mess behind the counter that I walked into. They got away with some...but not all of my smokes! |
The alarm is screaming great guns now ...gotta hurry and get the heck out of here! |
The outside door was a sealed glass unit and the broken shards of glass were impossible to remove. We had to open for business at some point ...so the duct tape (Man's best friend) was a warning to watch your hands! |

This is the temporary fix until we can get new glass for the inside door and a new door to replace the outside door! Looks ugly but its functional! |
